Gary Conkle is a graduate of Grand Valley State Colleges (now GVSU) and has degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is the author of several technical papers on computer and computer network security. He is a veteran of the United State Army and currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife of thirty-seven years and has two children. He is a past president of American Business Clubs (AMBUCS), a charitable organization, and enjoys working with handicapped children. He was also an early member of Windstar, an environmental and human rights organization founded by John Denver.

Gary’s interests include environmental concerns, writing, composing music, quantum mechanics, astrophysics and amateur astronomy. Gary served on the board of directors for an organization that used the NASA space program to enhance the educational opportunities for mentally and physically challenged children. He is currently employed as a Technical Product Manager for a software company specializing in computer network security software.
